Mock Surveys and Mock Tracer Survey - Simulated surveys to prepare staff for the survey process and identify needed corrective actions. This is an excellent experience for staff as it provides them the education and experience to confidently perform on survey day. We assist with completion of TJC Periodic Performance Reviews (PPR) and submission, respond to corrective action plans, write Measure of Success (MOS) and assist with the Continued Readiness Process .
Education - Ongoing and special staff education targeting survey readiness, healthcare quality, performance improvement, and leadership skills. Special education programs for medical staff include compliance with documentation requirements for billing and coding and how to improve the data that is publicly reported on the internet about physicians and hospitals.
Policies and Procedures - Review and upgrading of policies and procedures to guide management and staff in the consistant implementation of procedures and to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
SWAT Analysis - Special Workforce Assessment Team (SWAT) - When rapid compliance or turn around is critical. Our team will inspect/evaluate facilities and investment firms for compliance with accreditation, CMS or re-licensure, prior to purchase.
Survey Representation - Upon request, Rossa, Rossa and Associates will provide on-site support during actual surveys.
Quarterly Retainer - Intermediary representatives for accreditation education, short-term challenges, and other issues requiring immediate assistance.
Nurse Liason - Assisting facilities to meet requirements for oversight of nursing.
Environment of Care - Comprehensive review of all buildings and grounds, identification of problems as well as provision of economical solutions; staff education regarding maintaining a safe environment and communicating with surveyors. Completion of documentation for both new and revised statement of conditions or regulatory agency requirements. Semi-annual or annual building inspection (required by TJC) and Life Safety, Emergency Management, Utility Management, Hazardous Material, and Security planning and implementation. Hazardous material management planning and implementation, Hazardous vulnerability assessment, Infection control and Bio-Medical management planning and implementation.
Program Management - Upgrading and implementing performance improvement programs; review of management policies and procedures to guide management in implementing a consistent approach and to comply with standards and regulations.
Credentialing - Review of credentialing, human resources and medical staff processes and documentation for all essential requirements to include methods of determining competency.
Behavioral Health - Comprehensive review of Behavioral Health Care hospitals, outpatient programs and other services. Staff education and survey readiness, review and upgrading of policies and procedures needed to guide staff and to comply with standards as well as performance improvement consultation and implementation.
